I like the way that Lauren keeps up a chatty informal atmosphere and maintains her positive attitude throughout our sessions. She has a great way of explaining the basics of exercises and technique. She managed to push me far beyond what I thought was possible for me! The best thing about our sessions if the achievement I feel in increasing the weight every week and that great shaky bum feeling at the end! Also enjoy the one on one catch up time to touch base. Lauren made me feel very comfortable and worked me to the level I requested. Lauren has a wonderful confident yet relaxed manner and communicates well. She tapped into my personality style and challenged me throughout my sessions. The thing I love the most is the way she pushes me to my full potential by recognizing the I love a challenge and to train hard. Overall the sessions are fantastic, Lauren is an awesome trainer! I felt very unsure about my first PT session and Lauren made me feel very comfortable with clear explanations, demonstrating a calm, organized approach which was just what I needed. She always paid particular attention to technique and safety which was appreciated. Having done some sessions alone now, I realize that yes Lauren works me to my full potential as I don’t achieve those extra few reps working out alone! I love the ‘good sore’ feeling the next day when I know I’ve done something hard but good! I like the true feeling of achievement when having completed the extra reps I didn’t think I could do. The best thing is the stretch afterwards! Lauren has a lovely calm manner, is organized, thoughtful motivating, knowledgeable and is an excellent communicator. KB 2007
Lauren was able to put me at ease right from that start. I had visions of Jillian on the biggest loser!! But Lauren was far more gentle (still firm but gentle.) I enjoy the variation in our sessions. The session is different every time and I can see it building on the beginning sessions. The best bit is the feeling when its over! And knowing that Lauren is there to support me and genuinely wants me to succeed. I would recommend Lauren to others as it is a commitment to your overall wellbeing. It is much more than just losing a couple of kilos. Lauren, through the training has made an unbelievable difference to my total outlook and wellbeing. My sessions have become my sanity!! During my sessions with Lauren I am always at ease and feel comfortable, even in a room full of others, sessions are enjoyable. I enjoy getting feedback on how the body works, the biology of it etc. Lauren manages to motivate and push me in a subtle way, ensuring the workouts are manageable for me. I enjoy them so much so that sometimes I’m not aware of the time. The length of the sessions are good and manageable with busy schedules. I like the discussions during the workouts about life in general rather than always being focused on weights. Plus I like the way we focus on technique and getting it right to maximize full training potential. What I love most is the feeling of achievement at the end of the sessions. Lauren displays an easy going manner and is approachable and honest. She’s never afraid to explain new theories and techniques regarding training and her skill in training and ability to tailor the training to your needs is exceptional. She always ensures you are pushed to you desired limits! What I like most about my sessions is that I feel like I’m working hard but efficiently and there is variation in the training. All up I would say that she does an exceptional job and maintains an approachable and friendly attitude whilst training discipline is maintained, which I believe is her greatest strength. – JM 2008
Lauren always makes you feel at ease not only in her sessions but whenever you see her. She always remembers what you did and what you can do to push yourself harder. She is very motivating and makes you put in 100%. She always pushes me to get to the next level. Overall, she is fantastic and will work with your own individual level, not push you so hard you won’t come back (like some trainers do, especially if you’re new to exercise.) – KT 2008
